FloodSax® are the innovative self-inflating flood defense system which has revolutionized the way YOU can control flooding.

FloodSax® allows everyone to be prepared for flooding, from an elderly or disabled person living alone to a giant corporation. With FloodSax®, everyone can buy time to protect their investment without the need for outside help that may never come or arrive when it's too late!

The semi-porous inner liner contains thousands of absorbent crystals which soak up water to 90% capacity in less than 3 minutes. FloodSax® act just like sandbags to keep floods at bay only WITHOUT the SAND because they use WATER as their volume and weight! Each FloodSax® can hold up to 5.5 gallons of water (45 lbs.) for up to three months. They are designed so they mold into doorways and low-level windows to keep floodwater out.

FloodSax® are lightweight at just 22 oz per bag when dry, making it suitable for those who may not be able to lift heavy 40-50 lb sandbags. FloodSax® are clean and self–contained so they are ideal for floods indoors as well as outside. On that note, a single FloodSax® can be 'rolled-up' into a small 'log' and stuffed into the drain of one's toilet which will swell up and block the trap keeping out dirty water from backed up septic and sewer system's (this will not break the porcelain). FloodSax® can also be placed into sinks, tubs, and floor basins then filled with water for activation and the weight will assist keeping water from backing up through drains in these areas as well.
