"Taken By Storm" is my 6th annual chase highlights production and reflects some of my most successful storm intercepts to date! Follow along as we encounter days filled with tornadoes, incredible "flying saucer" supercells, fantastic displays of lightning, and even a hurricane intercept.

May 20 - Northeast Colorado Supercell

A long-lived and isolated supercell entertains us for hours in Morgan County Colorado. Definitely one of the most amazing "flying saucer" structure storms I have ever encountered!

May 22 - Thayer, Jefferson, & Saline County, NE

What a day! A large and dusty wedge tornado is first intercepted near Alexandria, NE. We later encounter more tornadoes and a strong RFD surge further east between Daykin and De Witt, NE.

May 24 - Chester, NE to Belleville, KS

More tornadoes...another incredible day! Two tornadoes are on the ground as we approach Hubbell, NE along highway 8. After filming a dramatic and beautiful rope-out stage near Chester we move further east and south and experience a close encounter with a developing tornado just west of Belleville, KS.

May 26 - Tuttle, OK LP & Sooner Lake Tornado

Two storm chases in one as we pursue a potentially tornadic storm near Hinton, OK while Bill Reid's group intercepts the Sooner Lake tornado east of Enid.

May 29 - Harper & Sumner County, Kansas

The big day! We film a long-lasting tornado west of Anthony and then move east as numerous tornadoes form from a cyclic supercell, including a 10 minute "merry-go-round" of tornadoes near Milan. Truly a storm chaser's dream chase day!

July 31 - Siouxland "Spaceship" Supercell

A nicely-sculpted and tornado-warned supercell is intercepted in Turner County, SD. This is followed by one of the most amazing light shows I have seen!

September 25th & 26th - Hurricane Jeanne

24 hours "chasing" Jeanne from Floridana Beach to Lake Wales, Florida and then on to the town of Bartow to experience the eye. What a blast!
